GREYWATER RECYCLING SYSTEM
My idea is to set up a drainage system from the sewer pipes of each household. The pipe leads the water to the filter, and the filtered grey water will be converted into clean water, which can be reused for irrigation or gardening. Although grey water may look "dirty", it is a safe and even beneficial source of irrigation water in the yard. This strategy has the potential not only to maximize the use of limited water resources, but also to improve the quality of life in low-income communities. The main area of the system is to recycle household wastewater as gardening water, especially in the dry season, to improve the environment and human health in a hygienic way.
This design attempts to support a considerable number of households, especially in low-income areas where water is scarce and households are under financial pressure to make full use of all available resources.

HOW IT WORKS
The greywater filter is a vertical sand filter in which the wastewater flows down to a tank filled with sand, activated carbon and gravel. When greywater flows out of the household pipes (which is from sinks, washing machines, baths, etc), it is put into a water filtration system installed underground, which has a special gravel density to filter water residues.
After the filtration process is completed, the treated water will be put into the water storage tank, where a waterproof pump is installed inside, to pump water up through a pipe for use or irrigation.

CONSTRUCTION
These are vertical filters built with concrete or brick walls, and the frame layer is sand and gravel. The filter is built into the ground to facilitate construction and prevent it from being exposed to ground hazards
To prevent gravel from entering the drainage pipe, we will install rocks (5 to 15 cm in diameter) in the drainage layer in front of the outlet pipe. The basin can be constructed of concrete with a wall thickness of 10 cm and a suitable base of at least 15 cm.
