For this assignment, you are required to develop an analysis of a case study, following the five-step process introduced throughout the early weeks of this course. You will be placed into groups of approximately 4-6 people for this assignment, and together you will prepare a consultancy-style PowerPoint slideshow designed to present your analysis, findings and recommendations relating to your designated cause.

You will be operating as a team of management consultants - and should select an appropriate name for your professional consultancy group. As a team of management and organisational behavioural specialists, you are required to carefully examine the narrative of your allocated case and prepare a PowerPoint presentation that:

1. identifies the key issue or problem evident in your case study - and provides reasoned justification for this.

2. identifies a range of sub-issues or problems – categorised into meaningful groupings - and explains why these issues are relevant and of concern.

3. indicates between 8 and 12 relevant theories and explains how these theories relate to the case, and why they are relevant.

4. outlines 4 possible distinctive standalone solutions or intervention strategies - and explains each one briefly – along with three advantages and three disadvantages for each of the 4 solutions.

5. presents a succinct and focused preferred solution and a comprehensive implementation plan, along with a timeline – articulating what needs to be achieved on day one, week one, over the first month, the first six months, the first year, for example.

Your designated case study for this assignment will be posted on Blackboard at the end of Week 6 of this Trimester.

The grading of this assignment:
This assignment will be graded according to the following criteria:
(a) Content: Ability to identify relevant theory, concepts, problems and issues, and arguments
(b) Analysis: Ability to analyse the issues, concepts and arguments
(c) Logic: Ability to present and integrate material appropriately
(d) Group Method: Ability to present a coherent and fluent overall presentation (seamlessness)
(e) Presentation Skills: Persuasiveness, clarity, engagement (for example through clear presentation of diagrams, charts, relevant images), spelling and fluent syntax.

Submission
Since this assignment takes the form of a Powerpoint presentation, submission to Turnitin is not appropriate. Due to the uniqueness of this assignment and the specific nature of the case study, the issue of plagiarism is unlikely to be of relevance.
