Students will submit their Final Project under a visual category ranging from a brochure, infographic, poster or short video. In this Final Project, students will describe the lessons learned through the different topics from GSCI1024 “Environmental Science”. The expectation is that students will explain the knowledge they acquired in the course and how it relates to their program at GBC, career, and/or livelihoods. This explanation will come from at least three topics that the student will link in a reflection.

1) A reflection: This reflection must state the chosen topics clearly and how you think they can be linked to your learning experience at GBC, your career, your job, and/or your daily life activities. The purpose of this reflection is two-fold:
a) To assess yourself about what you have learned in this course.
b) To provide feedback about the course topics.

Feel free to distribute the reflection in separate content boxes to create a balanced design between images and text. Make sure that your text is simple but straightforward. It must be your writing; any signs of plagiarism will lead you to get a zero in the assignment.
If you are creating a short video, use the written reflection as the script of the message you will be sharing in the video. You will need to submit the script.

2) Images: Choose at least four images that relate explicitly and adequately to your reflection. These images are not just simple icons but complementary images that enhance the explanation of your reflection. This does not mean that you cannot add other minor figures or images to make yourprojectlook better (e.g., icons). Make sure you cite your images' source (this is not the same as the References that are described below). You can use your own created images or photography.
If you are creating a short video, make sure you use images in combination with the audio. If you feel comfortable, you can film yourself sharing your reflection, but it is not necessary. Make sure that the audio level is high enough and clear. The video duration would range between a minimum of three minutes and a maximum of five minutes. At the end of the video, show the sources of the images.

3) References: You need to cite at least four references using the American Psychological Association (APA) format (place them at the bottom of your work or at the end credits of your video). These references are academic resources that support your reflection. Look for relevant literature at the GBC online library.

3 persons: Select together 5 topics, 6 images and write a reflection ranging between 800-900words.

You will upload the Final Project as one pdf file (learn how to export your file as pdf). Find a place in your Final Project where you indicate the course name and code, and the institution name: George Brown College.
If you are creating a short video, preferably use the mp4 extension. Make sure the file size is small (compress it if necessary). You could also consider uploading your short video to YouTube as Unlisted, and therefore you could write down the link in the Final Project submission Tab (in TextSubmission or as a Comment).
