ArtStuff (Pvt) Ltd is a newly started advertising firm located in Colombo. Recently you have been recruited as an Associate Network Engineer and as the first task in the organization, you have been asked to prepare a requirement specification to implement a LAN for the COMPANY.

You will need to produce a report for the Company Management that includes the following:

1. Briefly discuss about different types of networks (LAN, WAN, MAN) and propose the types that should be concerned when implementing the computer network for the above mentioned organization.

2. Discuss about different network topologies and their pros and cons. Then suggest the suitable topology need to be concerned when designing the architecture of the network of this company. 

3. Explain about network protocols with respect to OSI model and TCP/IP suite and which ones are needed in implementing the network for this scenario

4. Discuss about different network devices used and their functionality in computer networking. (Example: Switch, Router, Splitter, Access Points etc.) Discuss which important network devices and software need to be used in making the network and how they are getting fit with different layers in OSI.

5. Explain about wired and wireless media with different specifications (Example Bandwidth, etc.) used in computer networks. What specific types of wired and wireless media with different bandwidths needed according to requirements. 

6. Discuss about currently available technologies for data, voice communication. (Example: Leased lines, broad band, etc.) Suggest the technologies have to be used.

7. Explain about different Network Architectures like Client-Server and Server types can be used with the architecture. According to the scenario, discuss about the architecture and types of servers for different services such as dhcp, dns, ftp, proxy, email etc should be used in constructing the network.

8. Explain about different software can be used for different network functions (networking software) such as file transferring, remote monitoring, email management etc. Discuss the networking software that need to be used in network of scenario
