Based on the work you have produced in the first assessment, individually, you are required to analyse the event with the use of the Event Life Cycle Model.

Assessment Description. 

The purpose of this individual assignment is to further students skills in understanding the role of events  management within the Tourism and Hospitality Industry. By applying the Event Life Cycle concept to  the real event, students will analyse the core events management principles used to create, design and  plan sustainable events. 

Assessment Instructions 

Part 1: In addition to the research that you have performed in the first assessment, conduct further  research about the event to critically examine what has happened during the formation, growth, and  staging stages of the event by plotting your findings onto the Event Life Cycle Model (an example of this  model is available in workshop 3, slide 9). You are to use a free infographic application Canva that allows  users to create presentations, posters, documents and other visual content. Please note that this part does not have a word limit. 

Part 2: Once you have created your infographic, you are then required to write a 1000 word analysis of the future development stage of the Even Life Cycle Model by evaluating if this event has left a  sustainable legacy for future tourism growth. Based on this, you are also to propose three strategic  recommendations to event stakeholders on how event legacy could be more sustainable
