Assignment Task

This assessment task requires you to design and deliver a narrative audio-visual presentation on the structure of the healthcare system in Australia, including information on service delivery and funding models. You will need to design your audio-visual presentation using a program such as PowerPoint, Canva, or Google Slides. You will be required to submit a copy of your presentation slides in the LMS portal.

You will be required to deliver your presentation in class if you are enrolled in the on-campus subject. You will be required to submit a recording of you delivering your audio-visual presentation if you are enrolled in the online subject.

Context

This assessment task will allow you to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the Australian healthcare system and how the community services sector fits into, and intersects with, the healthcare system. It will enable you to consolidate your knowledge of the community services sector, service delivery, and funding models.

Design and delivery of your audio-visual presentation will also help you develop your written and oral communication as well as your digital design and presentation skills, which are important skills in many types of community services occupations.
