In response to high levels of childhood obesity, your project could be to pilot after school cooking classes for teenagers at your neighbourhood centre.)  

4. Set a program goal. This is a broad, long-term quantifiable outcome. Identify a local/state/national policy or set of guidelines that is aligned with your goal.  

5. Set project objectives. These are specific, short-term desired outcomes. Write a concisely worded paragraph or a set of bullet points that carefully explain the intended outcomes within the local community.  

6. Write a brief overview of your plan for the project. (What are you going to do from week to week?)  

7. Identify any resources or money that you think you would need to conduct your project. (Please note that in a real project proposal, you would need to consider official forms and ethics approval processes, but this is not necessary in this assessment).  

8. How would you evaluate the program? (This could involve collecting information regarding the process and experiences of people involved, in addition to quantifiable results.)
