Events of primary health promotion project presentation:
  1. We were a group of 4 boys students chose the topic obesity and diabities in children in rural australia.
  2. We mutually decide about the sections need to be prepared by everyone.
  3. my section was strategies for the health promotion project.
  4. We discussed the main key points about the topic on the very first day in the class and also made one messenger group for coordination.
  5. I started my part on second day and finished in the same week and also posted on the messenger for the feedback from others.
  6. Initially they all like the ideas but lateron they want me to change some things from my part, which I did.
  7. Then by  second week they all also prepared their part and send those on messenger.
  8. My initial reaction to see their work was that they were concentrating only on diabities and talked very little about obesity, so I requested them to change it slightly for consistency among the whole project, which they did lateon.
  9. One week before the presentation we were informed by our tutor that we are not required by all to do presentation AND ONLY ONE OR FEW CAN PRESENT THE WHOLE ASSIGNMENT.
  10. So as I was not very confident in presentation in class I asked my others members if they want to present my part. One person happily agree to present my part and his conclusion part.
  11. One day before the presentation we decided to mock the presentation.
  12. Mock presentation- they were just reading the scripts of their part, so I asked them if this is the way u going to present in the class , then they said no we will prepare.
  13. On presentation day- our turn was the last one, many of the other group members were just reading the script and not even presenting. So I asked my other members again that look everybody is just reading the script so if u want I can even do the same and present my self but they said don’t worry now and we shall go with the plan.
  14. Tutors comments on presentation-   our strategies specially making health report card is not practical as some students are sensitive to disclose their weights and BMI.
