OVERVIEW OF ASSESSMENT 1 AND ASSESSMENT 2

This task is the first in a two-part, nested assessment designed to prepare you for Assessment 2. The overarching goal is to help you explore the implications of digital health for health professionals in the Australian healthcare system. This includes examining current technologies in use, as well as understanding the technological, clinical, social, legal, and ethical impacts of healthcare digitisation.

In Assessment 1, your focus will be on developing a structured interview guide using Generative AI. The questions you create here will form the foundation for Assessment 2, where you will:

1. Conduct a simulated (role-play) interview with two virtual agents:

• a. One representing a general practitioner from a metropolitan area.
• b. One representing a general practitioner from a rural area.

2. Analyse the data collected during the interviews.

3. Present your findings in a professional oral presentation.

By completing this initial task, you will develop a refined and purposeful set of interview questions. This will ensure that you are well-prepared to engage meaningfully in the role-play and analysis components of Assessment.

Interview Guide Requirements

1. Demographics of the Agents

• Design questions to gather basic demographic information:

• Gender
• Age group
• Location (metropolitan or rural)
• Health-related work experience

• Avoid requesting identifiable information such as names, precise ages, addresses, phone numbers, or employer names.

2. Understanding of Digital Health

• Develop questions exploring each agent’s understanding of “digital health” and its relevance to their role and environment.

3. Experience with Digital Health Technologies

• Include questions on past experiences with digital health technologies:

• For example: wearable devices, online health information, or telehealth platforms.

4. Opinions and Beliefs on Digital Health Products/Services

• Ask about agents’ perspectives on digital health:

• Opinions on products and services.
• Perceived impact on healthcare delivery (professional and consumer viewpoints)

• How has this activity helped you improve your confidence and understanding of designing good interview questions and using AI responsibly?

4. Final Deliverable Submit a single document using the provided template that includes your reflection and your final set of 10–15 interview questions.
