Assessment details
Recorded presentation – Each student is required to plan, create and submit a recorded presentation and associated slide material. It can be using Powerpoint or other video/ slide platforms.
For the purpose of this assessment you are required to review the Statement of the Heart document available on the Canvas site and also included via the link below. From this you are to develop a critically reflective presentation (inclusive of support from academic literature) focusing on what the content of the statement means to you as an emerging healthcare practitioner in relation to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities within our current health care context.
You will need to include an Acknowledgement of Country in your presentation. A minimum of 5 references should be utilised.
Guidelines for the Presentation
General guidelines for the production and submission of the recorded presentation are:
Length: 5 minutes
The presentation must be clearly visible and sound quality should be clear - a muffled voice or poor picture quality is unacceptable; and
The presentation will be uploaded to the Canvas site for marking. The file must be easily viewed on Canvas and not require specialised software for access.
If there is is evidence that the work is not the student's own work, it will be deemed as plagiarism and will be dealt with in the same manner as per the current University of Canberra assessment policy.
