Any response that goes over 2000 words will receive a mark no higher than the C range.
You must refer to at least TWO Primary Sources (sources made from the time) in your response.
A copy of the specific sources will need to be included in an appendix that is to be attached to the essay. Eg. Statistics, cartoons, short extracts so they can be checked by the marker.

Choose 3 topics from the list below that interest you and place them into the table below. Think about what interests you and the positives and negatives of choosing that topic. Rank them in order of interest.
TOPIC INTRIGUING FACTORS WHAT QUESTIONS DO I HAVE ABOUT THIS TOPIC? RATING 1-3

Process Log Part 3 - Make a question 2 MarksCreate the question you are going to answer. This will need to be a sophisticated question so that you can create a 25 mark response. Make sure you are confident in your ability to answer the question, but avoid creating a question that is simplistic. Questions that focus on ‘what’ rather than ‘how’ or ‘why’ should be immediately dismissed. The following question starters have been provided by the History Teachers Association:
? Assess… ? What impact/effect… ? How did…change… ? Discuss the importance of… with reference to… ? Explain the causes of… ? Discuss the achievements of… ? Evaluate the importance of… ? How and why… ? To what extent…. ? Evaluate the success of … ? Assess the strengths and weaknesses… You need to create three possible questions that could be asked about your chosen topic.1._____________________________________________________________________
