Thesis statement: Feminist movements (#METOO) must implement intersectionality to remove the biased stigma in feminism that a feminist must be subject to the conforms of a white, heterosexual, able-bodied, middle-class woman, otherwise we will continue to see a divide between women in advocating for feminism.  
 
Paragraph 1: History of feminism - Feminism being birthed by a white woman in 19th Century  - Feminism in professions being dominated by white women (PR) – focussing on PR as it is a field related to campaigning and it structured the way that the #METOO movement focused on white women as the profession is made up of white women. - Predominately female professions have been dominated only by white women, and feminist movements only focus on white women and their experiences. (19th century women’s right march)  - The Equal Rights Amendments only focused on giving rights to white women.  
 
Paragraph 2: #METOO movement  - The history of the #METOO movement being ignored – started by an African American woman, but this is highly disregarded and not discussed.  - The importance of the movement and how it was communicated.  - The movement has only been focussing on hearing the experiences of white women placing ethnicity as a factor for being eligible to be part of the movement, otherwise you will be ignored.  - The failure of #METOO movement, it aimed to bring awareness to sexual assault to women, but rather it only created division between women. This is has become a problem as feminists in the movement have explicitly ignored the history of the #METOO movement and have failed to acknowledge its relation and importance to women of colour.  
 
Paragraph 3: The problem (small paragraph)  - How a primarily white female PR profession resulted in the #METOO movement diving women and giving power to white females.  
 
Paragraph 4: Intersectionality – the solution?  - What is intersectionality?  - Why is intersectionality important in professions (PR)?  - Why is intersectionality needed in feminist movements? 
 
Conclusion:  - Although feminism was created on white female experiences it needs to highlight the experiences and advocation of rights for women who are of different races, religions, disabilities, ethnicity and social class in order to achieve true feminism.
