Jones is a 78-year- old widower who sustained a #NOF after falling on the footpath near his home. He went to theatre and has RTW at 2100 hours with a hip replacement. He has had a spinal anaesthetic and is numb from the waist down. He has a large incision on his right hip and a drain tube inserted, he also has IVT and an IDC insitu. Mr. Jones has a past history of Hypertension which he is currently on medication for. Client Assessment Scenario Two Mr. Hercules is a 29-year- old male who had been celebrating after the football team he plays for won the Grand Final. He was brought to A&E department after a 5 minute LOC when he fell from a table top through a window. He has a large laceration over his temporal bone, which was sutured in A&E with 12 stitches. At 0300 he was admitted to the medical ward for overnight observation. Client Assessment Scenario Three Ms. G. Brown, a 75-year- old lady who has RTW from the Operating Theatre at 115 after having a total colectomy with a formation of an ileostomy. She has a Redivac drain tube in, O2 therapy at 6L/min via the Hudson mask, IVT Normal Saline going and has had IV morphine for pain. She is very drowsy from the anaesthesia and the morphine. Questions:
  1. Explain how these feelings may contribute to her feeling disabled or sick.
