Assessment methods - The following assessment methods have been designed to include the skills and knowledge evidence and the performance criteria of the unit of competency. Assessment 2: Case study This assessment has two case scenarios, Nellie and Jack. You will be required to provide nursing care and management of these two diabetic clients Nellie and Jack, including promoting their self-management skills. You will be expected to provide nursing care to Nellie as she becomes both hypoglycaemic and hyperglcaemic and Jack, who is demonstrating signs of ketoacidosis. To achieve competency in this unit, you are required to attempt ALL the questions, and answer them in full in order to obtain a Satisfactory outcome. You will be notified of the due date for this assessment on Day 1 of this unit.
