George is prescribed cilazapril 5mg daily for his blood pressure plus  simvastatin 40mg at night. Today he was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit with a  confirmed myocardial infarction and requiring a triple bypass due to atherosclerotic  blockages. 
George presented with the following measurements, signs and symptoms: 
• Heart rate: 104 beats per minute 
• Blood-pressure: 104/88 mmHg 
• Capillary refill time: ~5 seconds 
• Respiratory rate: 18 breaths per minute 
• SpO2 92% on 2L/min O2 
• Laboratory blood findings at admission were hyperkalaemia (6.4 mmol/L), lactic  acidosis (3.8 mmol/L) with a blood sample taken twenty-eight hours following onset  of symptoms indicating raised serum Troponin T (227 ng/L).
