Layer
1. Philosophy
The chosen lookup philosophy is pragmatism. The method is chosen&nbs due to the fact it offers with the facts and thinking about the significance of sensible consequences this will be an explanatory lookup that targets to provide an explanation for the causes penalties and advantages of Implementation of New Hospital information system and digitalization Further this method is most appropriate for the aggregate of qualitative and quantitative records which will be used in the research.
2. Approach
Considering the nature of research, a combination of inductive and deductive approaches is selected. Since the Implementation of New HIS system and digitalization is a defined topic and a and the research aims to test the available studies on the Implementation of New HIS system replacing old one at Aster Medical Centre, therefore a part of research will be based on deductive approach. However, the inductive approach is selected, because this approach emphasis upon context and the organisational situation. Therefore, the results of specific Aster Medical Centre systems will also be utilized concentrating the specific contexts.
3. Strategy
Running the critical daily, weekly, and monthly reports for company is a time consuming process and tracking manually for reports that is often left undone. This created the need for an automated dashboard with New Changes that combines the important information from all the reports into one screen. The research will address this need and will try to come up with a useful solution based on detailed analysis. Further, this will be an explanatory research that aims to explain the causes, consequences and benefits of Aster Medical Centre with implementation of New hospital information System and digitalization, which is a well-defined topic and therefore I will follow secondary research approach.
4. Choices
Considering the nature of research, I will use combination of available qualitative as well quantitative data including work order count summary data. The collected data and information will be analysed using statistical analysis approach for quantitative data and thematic analysis approach for qualitative data.
5. Time Horizons
The time horizon is discussed at length in Project Plan section, where a Gantt chart is prepared and also each activity is explained.
6. Data Collection
As provided above, the research will follow secondary approach using combination of qualitative and quantitative data. Thus, required information and data will be collected from wide range of trusted sources including but not limited to:
