1. Configure Routers

Note: ISP and Sydney routers are preconfigured, do not make any changes to those at this stage in Task 6.

Configure all other routers as follows:

Rename Routers as shown on the topology.

Use 1st IP addresses to configure all LAN interfaces (Gateways).

Use 1st IP address to interfaces s0/0/0 and 2nd address to s0/0/1 on WANs.

Use clock rate = 64000

Make sure all router interfaces are in upstate.

Configure OSPF routing protocol on Routers. Use process ID 1 and area 0.

Configure a Default Route towards Internet (ISP) using exit interface on Router Melbourne.

Advertise the Default Route.

Ensure that LANs on each router do not receive any OSPF updates.

2. Apply Security Techniques and Troubleshoot

Troubleshoot Laptop status.

On Router Sydney, configure encrypted privileged EXEC mode password as: 222dontGuess

On Router Sydney apply a banner, use message: This is a secure network, Unauthorized access forbidden! Note: configure banner in the same line with no space between the delimiters and banner message.

3. Test connectivity:

Confirm that Laptop Guest gets appropriate dynamic address.

Confirm that Devices are able to ping each other.

Confirm that PCO and PC1 can send and receive emails.
