Intent

This policy (including all subsections), applies to all employees, contractors and agents ("employees") working for/with MultyHome LP (the "Company"), and should be interpreted according to the applicable context.

Safety is critical to all positions in the Company. Because of the greater risks involved in the performance of certain jobs, some jobs will be identified as particularly safety-sensitive positions (i.e. jobs involving heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery) and employees holding safety-sensitive jobs will be expected to meet additional standards as may be prescribed in other Company policies.

Violation of this policy may be grounds for disciplinary action up to, and including, termination of employment.

Substance Use

Employees are prohibited from "Working" if they are not fit for duty due to impairment from substance use, including from use of medications, drugs, or alcohol ("Substance Use").

Employees are also prohibited from using substances while off-duty, at any time which impairs their work. Common sense will dictate, for instance, that excessive substance use, or substance use shortly before work will be impairing and unsafe and will be presumed to cause a person to be unfit for duty.

Under this Policy "Working" means: while on-duty during work hours (including work on company premises, or off-site), at work events and during travel for work purposes. For further clarity "travel" includes but is not limited to travel to, from, or for work, and travel using company vehicles.

Use of medications can also be impairing and unsafe. As a result, if an employee is planning on using medications due to a medical condition before or while Working, they are required to immediately report the fact of, or risk of, any sedative or impairing effects to their supen/isor and a Company Human Resource representative ("HR").

a. Unless explicitly authorized, if an employee is found: a. to be impaired, b. using substances while Working; on or off company property c. determined by the Company to be otherwise unfit for duty, or d. to have acted contrary to this Policy,
