The school has a strong Indigenous student program and extensive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programs. The students have excelled in VCE and VCAL examinations in these subjects. The school is also renowned for the wide array of sports that it offers students. These have been largely supported by parents who have conducted many fundraising activities (including chocolate drives) to support them.
