Task description
Before any learning or development interventions take place, a thorough analysis of the organisation, its tasks and people must be conducted, identifying if any learning gaps exist. Select an organisation of your choice. Collect relevant primary and/or secondary data/information from various sources. Using frameworks from Figure 3.1 and Figure 3.2 (textbook Chapter 3), this task requires you to follow all the steps in the process of an effective HRD needs analysis. This includes the topics from Chapter 1 (e.g. pressure points) and Chapter 2 (e.g. strategy and strategic HRD).
