Briefly outline the features and the functions of each the following:

Network architecture:
Network Architecture is an  identification of a networks physical components, its working principles and procedures. It is a framework to outline a computer network. The main functions of network architecture is to identify a networks where physical components, its procedure and their functional organization and arrangement where as, its features is to provide a quality of services with security.
Bridges as required: 
A network bridge is a computer networking device that connects various communication networks into single network. The function of bridge is to control addresses for transferring frames and designing a bridging table to keep track of devices on the segment. Discussing about features, bridge improves the performance of network.
Desktop operating systems: 
Desktop operating systems refers to the control of program in personal computer such as desktop, personal computer and others. Its main feature is to administrate and protect mode. It helps in controlling input and output operations and execution of  program. It is also used for handling the file resource with the detection of error.
Hubs: 
A hub in computer networking can be defined as a node which performs data to all the computers or any connected device which is Ethernet based. Hubs are used for connecting sections of a LAN (Local Area Network).  A common connecting point for different devices in a network is done by hub.

Network gateways:
A network gateway can be defined as a network growth that can be used in telecommunications which connects two network in different transmission protocols joining together and distribute as an entry as well as exit point for a network because through that all data must pass to the route. Its features is to mixed firewall for the purpose of security and support for tunneling as a network are transmitted across a point to point connection and grant network protocols to cross inappropriate infrastructures whereas its function is to manage over both inside as well as outside network domains.

Network operating systems: 
The computer operating system which is designed especially to support personal computers, workstations, and older terminals etc. which are connected on LAN is known as network operating system .Network operating system are also concerned in security that can be handle through servers. Its main features is to share printer, application, common file & database whereas its function is to permit sharing of network and computing resources.

Routers: 
A router can be defined as a networking device which functions the traffic directing on the internet and forwards data packets between computer networks. The main features of router is to throw the range of the internet from one place to another.
