Project Scope.
You are to design a computer network for Gomoa Computer Training Centre (GCTC) which has four (4) offices and two training centres. The organization has a minimum of 120 users at various levels at any point in time: GCTC has a Manager, a personal assistant, two (2) staff in the Finance office, two (2) in the Human Resources department and they are all based in the head office which is on the Fifth floor of a 6-storey building in Winneba. GCTC also has Six (6) trainers who conduct the training in two training rooms: one training room is on the ground floor of the head office building and a second training room in their training centre located in Swedru.

The first training room which is located at the head office has a capacity of forty (40) computers/trainees and the second training room which is in the Swedru centre has a capacity for sixty (60) computers/trainees.

You have been given a budget of GHS350, 000.00 with an option to spend up to GHS400,000 for the purpose though the centre expects you to manage costs carefully.

Basic Requirements
1. All users should be able to access the internet through a Dedicated Internet connection.
2. All users should be able to print via the network.
3. All users should have secure wireless access to the network, with the flexibility to connect via wired LAN.
4. All users should have access to the internet.
5. A file server for sharing files on the network.
6. Hosted Email servers for email access.
7. The administrator should be able to remotely view and control the file server from any location on the internet. He should also be able to offer support to staff and student remotely.
8. The employees should be able to access the internet wirelessly and also have wireless access to all networked services.
