Assessment event 1 – Portfolio - Project

This event requires you to submit a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates your skills and knowledge to support the management of low risk, straightforward information and communications technology (ICT) projects within an organisation.

Your portfolio of evidence must include the following items:

1. Project Charter

2. Project Plan

3. Project Progression

4. Project Closure

1. Read the scenario documentation provided:  

2. Prepare the Project Charter and Project Plan associated with the commencement of the project.

3. Prepare the Project Progression documentation. In preparing your documentation you must consider these facts:

1. 1. The project now is at the half-way point

1. 2. There is an issue that has arisen and is likely to cause 2 days delay

4. Finalise the project on completion by preparing the Project Closure documentation.

Any assumptions you need to make in order to complete the tasks. These must be included with your submission in a separate document that details the assumption made in relation to each of the items you submit. For example, with regard the Project Closure documentation you may assume the delay at the half-way point was able to be moved off the critical path and therefore did not affect the project end date. You may not use this example assumption in your submission.

These items must address the criteria as listed in Table 1
