2. Analyse web site requirements.
Following the meeting, send draft of an email to your assessor that documents the requirements for the website, including dynamic functionality as per the meeting and information you have reviewed.
You should also advise of the language you will use to achieve the functionality required and why you have chosen that language.

3. Develop website.
Use the text in Website Contents to populate your website. Assume that you have been asked to
create the web site as follows:
• Create a basic 3-page DHTML website using the software that your RTO has to develop the website (for example, Visual Studio), including the requirements as set out in Website Contents.
• Use standard website folder structure.
• Create all pages using correct naming conventions, saving them in the correct folders

• Create the website structure and layout using HTML and style the website using an external
CSS Stylesheet.
• Design the website using Accessibility standards.
• Validate the website pages using two different web browsers to ensure the code is compliant
• Include a navigation bar to link all pages
• Include headings (at least one H1 on each page).
• Style website using CSS scripts and include:
o CSS Box Model (e.g. padding)
o at least one CSS3 feature such as font style, box style or layout.
• Ensure that the web site contains the following:
o one video embedded using HTML code
o an image
o a basic contact form on the Contact page created using HTML code – This contact form must have at least 3 field elements – Name, email and comments.
o The contact form must use JavaScript to validate the contact form input elements

4. Provide internal documentation in created web pages to improve the readability.
Complete this task as follows:
• Script file should have a comment block at its beginning containing the basic information on the name of the author who created the file, the date the file was created, and description.
• Follow JavaScript coding standards, use inline comments explaining key aspects of the page etc.

5. Test website for errors, validated and debugged as required
The website active elements or objects must be tested for viewing successfully across Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome browsers. Take a screenshot for each browser tested.

6. Print a copy of the code of the website that you have developed.
Submit the print out to your assessor.

7. Submit the following along with draft of an email to the client (your assessor).
The text of the email should be in grammatically correct English, written in an appropriate (polite, business-like) style.
It should introduce and summarise the contents of each attachment and request their approval. Attach the following to the email:
• Soft version of website
• Screen shots of browser tests
