Especially through the character Mateo, we find he wishes he had of lived a little bit more while he had the chance. He explained, "The number one person I'll miss the most is Future Mateo, who maybe loosened up and lived." I think the way people interacted I draw this comment back to Mateo's call from Death Cast. The Lady was considerably rude, in the book was realistic. seeing as she was announcing a death to the person who it was regarding. I feel like this is an accurate representation of what a telephone person would be like especially after making those calls all day. 
Rufus and Mateo falling in love 
I found Rufus and Mateo falling in love very sudden and unrealistic. 
Anti climactic ending The ending was not an extremely interesting one in my opinion. Although it was anti climatic it was realistic, showing that there was really no way of avoiding their fait. 
Interesting A world where people know when you will die. 
I think the idea that someone knows when you are going to die is very strange. If this were to be true in the real world, it would completely change peoples outlook on life and the world as we know it. Allot of possibilities could arise from having this small piece of information. 
Interesting Mateo & Rufus falling in love 
I found it very interesting that the author decided to use a same sex relationship for the main characters as it isn't something that you see allot in texts. I think this added a modern twist to the story.
