Renewable Transportation Fuels Reseach Project Assignment Help

TASK With the fast development of society, there are many potential problems emerging. One of the big contradictions which magnify the problems is the sharply increasing number of people who want to purchase their own vehicles and the unbearable pressure of pollution. Pollution from non-renewable sources of energy, such as fossil fuels are a pressing issue today. Fossil fuels are heavily depended on around the world today. Not only is the burning of fossil fuels damaging to the environment, but also the extraction of fossil fuels is damaging to the environment as well. A way to mitigate pollution is to lean toward renewable sources of energy, such as ethanol, biodiesel, and algae. We are interested in researching Algae fuels, because it is a next generation or an advanced biofuel, and unlike first generation biofuels, advanced biofuels does not compete with food sources. We are specially interested in researching production and environmental impacts of algae technology. Nonrenewable sources of energy have high environmental impacts, making them unsustainable sources of energy. While algae is considered a sustainable source of energy, is there an environmental impact of growing algae? If so what is it, and what can be done to prevent them? Does it meet environmental, social and economic needs? Furthermore, space, fertilizer and fresh water is needed to grow algae. Are there major environmental consequences of using fresh water and potentially using land to grow algae for biofuels?
