• Basically you need to indicate if your approach will be positivist or interpretivist (recall that positivism seeks to prove or disprove an existing understanding, while interpretivism seeks to create new understandings from new information or alternative analysis of existing information)

• In this section you will need to identify the type of data you will collect, create, gather, organize, and analyze.

Research Methods

• You should start with a description of the relevant population your study is examining and how you will select a sample for data creation and collection. It would also be appropriate to indicate the known variables that will be considered in your study
• Primary Data will involve creating surveys for quantitative information and interviews and focus groups is qualitative. If you have some ideas as to the types of questions you would ask you could include some samples to clarify your chosen method
• If you choose this option you need to complete and submit the ethics form with your research proposal submission
• Secondary Data will involve describing how you will source this data from existing sources

• A brief paragraph indicating your basic approach to analyzing the data you collect. For quantitative you can discuss in terms of key variables and so on. For qualitative information you can discuss the coding system you might employ to sort information into groupings that can be analyzed.

• Any potential limitations that may impact the validity or generalizability of your research findings.

Any potential for ethical conflict arising from the design, collection, or analysis during the research project
