TASK B
After examining their results (from Part A), the researchers were interested in including an additional variable into their model: mental health diagnosis. There are two categories of mental health diagnosis: the participant has a diagnosed mental health disorder or they do not. For the investigation, the latter corresponds to 0 and the former equals one. This new study consists of the following hypotheses: firstly, participants undertaking CBT would report increased wellbeing scores as compared to participants undertaking either psychoanalysis therapy or behavioural therapy; and secondly, this difference in wellbeing would differ for participants who have a mental health diagnosis as compared to those who do not have a mental health diagnosis.
