TASK:
Assessment Description

The presentation should be between 5 to 7 minutes long and presented in the form of a video clip (which is essentially a video of your voice-over PowerPoint, not a video of you). The presentation should have at least 5 slides. Please note that videos longer than 8 minutes will have marks deducted. You may choose any contemporary Aboriginal issue that interests you; you may choose from one of the topics listed for the Short Essay assessment that you have not already done, or choose something completely different. If you identify your own topic, you will need to discuss this choice with your tutor in Week 5 to confirm the suitability of your choice. You can look at an issue either from a broad perspective (e.g. racism, health, education, reconciliation) or from a specific perspective (e.g. the impact of the NT Intervention; the prevalence of otitis media among Aboriginal children; the ongoing impact of the stolen generations on contemporary Aboriginal life). The presentation should be structured in the following manner to include:an introduction (appropriate greeting, topic, an outline of the topic).the body (introduction of main points, expansion of main points with arguments, evidence and examples).a conclusion (restate your topic, summarise the main points, signal end of presentation).
