This assessment task requires you (the student) to select a topic relevant to your occupation or personal interests, then develop and submit a written plan, to prepare for a 15-minute presentation (assessment task 2, part A) to an audience of classmates or colleagues. You should choose a topic they know well and feel very comfortable talking about. Sample templates have been provided in the appendices of the assessment task 1, part A instructions for students      to use in planning the assessment presentation. You may use or adjust the provided templates, or their own versions as long as the essential information is covered.
In addition, you are required to plan an appropriate method of collecting feedback from members of the audience during the presentation as a way of further evaluation.

Assessors will record the outcome of each section of the plan containing essential information as either Satisfactory (S) or Not Satisfactory (NS) using the Assessment Task Checklist 1, Part A. Studentswill have a maximum of 2 attempts to achieve a Satisfactory result for all essential information.

Studentsmust complete all essential information of the plan unassisted by the Assessor or another person but, Studentsmay refer to the learning resources and any reference material. The trainer/assessor will set a time for Studentsto submit their answers and Studentsshould submit their written response and a correctly completed Assessment Cover Sheet by that due date.
