Some of these failures can be the result of neglecting organisational behaviour factors.
You will need to select an organisational failure that occurred in the last two years. After identifying a failure, your task is to identify organisational behaviour theories, concepts, and ideas that best explain the cause of the failure, and then to evaluate what the organisation did to recover from the failure.
 

The first step in this assignment is to write a proposal (worth 10%, due 9 April, 2pm via BlackBoard). It should contain the following:
1. Description of the failure, including a source of where you saw the failure (e.g., URL, magazine reference). This should be 100 words or less. The failure should not be one already covered in class or analysed in an academic source (e.g., textbooks, Harvard Business Review articles).  
2. Identify 1 or 2 organisational factors that best describe the failure. This should be 100 words or less. 
3. Reference to 5 academic articles from the ABDC 1503 journal list that can be used to support your argument.
