For the past year, the war in Ukraine has been a major disturbance for international trade.

You are asked to produce a 6-page document, answering the following three questions.

1. List the possible economic and legal questions and impacts that you deem most relevant (in relation with the course concepts). Provide, whenever necessary, practical examples such as:

a. The "law" part of the course talked about intellectual property. The new McDonalds in Russia exploits McDonalds' original IP. How to analyze this?

b. The "econ" part of the course talked about Foreign Direct Investment. The embargo on Russia threatens all Western investments in Russia. What has the future in store for these investors?
