INTRODUCTION
Internet of things (IoT) is commonly used in linking devices and collection of information and can be defined as the object of connecting physical objects via the internet which creates the possibility to contact remote sensor information and remote the environment from the distance. It will eliminate the human interaction that will have an effect on producing more data about the environment of the farm, reduces labor cost, make use of resources in a reasonable manner, reduces the production costs and would improve environmental background. Therefore there is a need to find a solution that can help the agricultural domain with the effective use of modern tools and technologies, in that sense the concept of IoT can be adopted in the agricultural domain.

Research Problem

The Internet of things (IoT) is the network of devices, vehicles, and home appliances that contain electronics, software, actuators, and connectivity which allows these things to connect, interact and exchange data. IoT involves extending Internet connectivity beyond standard devices, such as desktops, laptops, smartphones and tablets, to any range of traditionally dumb or non-internet- enabled physical devices and everyday objects (Whitmore, Agarwal, & Da Xu, 2015). Embedded with technology, these devices can communicate and interact over the Internet, and they can be remotely monitored and controlled (Gondchawar & Kawitkar, 2016).
