Creating and maintaining a portfolio can also enable nurses to identify their strengths and learning needs, and to develop a learning plan to address these needs.

Section 1: Patient Education Poster: "How does my heart work?" In this activity you are looking at how to teach your patient about their own cardiac anatomy and physiology. Based on what you have explored in Module 1 you are to devise Q poster that can be used as an education resource when explaining the function of the heart. Remember that you may be working with patients from various backgrounds, age groups and different educational perspectives - so you need to make it so that they can understand it. Please include your references at the bottom of the poster. Some suggestions for poster building applications include: PowerPoint CI, Canva C and PicMonkey G.

Section 2: Drug Therapies in relation to Cardiac Arrhythmias This assessment requires you to write up a drug profile summary for antiarrhythmic medications and describe specifically how these drugs work on the heart. There are five (5) classes of antiarrhythmic medications to consider. You are to put this in a table using your own words.
