Compare and contrast the powers of the executive in two countries (1,000 words maximum)

Support and substantiate this argument drawing on relevant academic literature and examples;
Engage in discussion and analysis of concepts, ideas and approaches relating to aspects of comparative politics, going beyond description;
Structure each Portfolio component to ensure a logical progression or sequence of content and analysis;

• Written communication and referencing conventions
• Write in a clear and appropriate style for the task;
• Show a clear command of spelling, punctuation and grammar, sentence structure and paragraph formation; 
• Follow Harvard referencing and citation conventions, or consistent use of another referencing style (such as MLA, MHRA).
