Case Study
This case study explores the psychological problem of wayfinding/navigating around the Parramatta South Campus of Western Sydney University (PSCOWSU), targeting the initial wayfinding experience. To verify that the psychological experience of wayfinding at PSCOWSU was not isolated to one student, an informal survey of several students was conducted. The survey consisted of one question “Describe your initial experience of navigating Parramatta South Campus.
Identify all key stakeholders
The stakeholders are addressed commencing with the beneficiaries of the intervention, up through the chain of command and lastly addressing the team responsible for student retention. Thus, the primary stakeholders are new students to PSC as the intervention is designed as a new student retention strategy; intended to be a time-sensitive intervention as the pop-up is only intended to be available for 3 weeks around the start of every semester.
