Assessment Details

This assessment is designed to evaluate your ability to use basic and advanced Access functions to perform business analytics.

The assessment will be conducted as a quiz with two main types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions and Open Essay Questions. Multiple Choice Questions could include True/False, single-selected or multiple selected questions. For Open Essay Questions, you will answer business questions based on a provided database. You need to apply your ability to use Access functions, manipulate the database, and apply certain business analytics approaches to get the answers.

What will happen in the assessment date/time?

• In the test date and time, you will log in a lab PC using your student ID and password
• You will log in Canvas using your student ID and password, then go to assignment 2, click on the link in the assignment page to take the quiz
• Log in the quiz using an access code that will be provided to you by your lecturer.
• Take the quiz.

What will you need to prepare?

• Review the topics and Access functions that will be tested. The details are provided below.
• Be on time for your assessment date/time

• Basic functions of Access database
  • Functions related to table, form,  query and report
