SCENARIO
EasiBuy wishes to develop a simple online eCommerce website that allows customers to purchase computer goods online. You will be working with a team of developers building this site from scratch. It has been determined that SQL Server will be the database tool used.
You have been assigned to work on the SQL Server side of things constructing tables and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
You have been tasked to work with the three tables shown below:
Department (departmentID, departmentName, description)

Product (productID, categoryID, productName, price, quantityInStock)

Category (categoryID, departmentID, categoryName)

In the following tasks, you will be writing, executing and testing SQL statements using SQL Server management Studio’s Query Editor.
As evidence of your work, save a copy of all these SQL statements, by pasting them into a document called IT5012_PracticalAssessment1_<YourStudentID>, and noting which question they refer to.
Once completed you will upload this document to iQualify to submit your work and then demonstrate the execution of these queries to your lecturer.
