One of the most controversial name in the information privacy debate is Google. Google is a search engine found in 1988 and is one of the most popular and exciting companies in the world today. Within a single click, you can search almost anything. However, despite numerous advantages, critics have claimed privacy violation issues over Google. On one hand, the advanced technology enhanced the browsing experience of its users at no evident cost. On the other hand, Google's increasing influence has made the users even harder to have control over their private information. Here, this essay will examine the advancement of Google technology and its advantages and disadvantages over both technical and philosophical aspect. Moreover, it will discuss the informational privacy issues raised and provide the recommendation to find the best solution.
