Part 2: Scenario.

Section 2 requires you to create an E-Business “Roadmap” strategy (including Online Activities) for a new business, Blog or an existing Website organization of your choice with a minimum of 2000 words. You may choose from one of three options.

Option 1:
You may choose a future-based prototype company based on a business idea that you wish to develop. You will then develop a set of online marketing activities and an e-Business Roadmap report for this proposed company. (LO2)

Option 2:
You may focus on a company or New Zealand Website which will benefit from e-business enhancements and Web marketing. You will then develop a set of online marketing activities and an e-Business Roadmap report for this proposed nominated company/website. (LO2)

Option 3:
You may choose to develop a fledgling Blog site and use this Blog site and proposed business model as the basis and target for a set of online marketing activity and an e-Business Roadmap report. (LO2-LO3)

Section 2. A: Online Activities  (LO2)

a) Use a Social media platform that allows Hash tagging (e.g. Twitter) associated with your nominated organization to promote the enterprise with information, marketing and associated industry tweets. Capture or screenshot this evidence.

b) Create a Facebook Group associated with your nominated organization and use this group to inform, promote and build community. Capture or screenshot this evidence.

c) Create a Google AdWords campaign. Use tools for tailored Keyword generation. Create an advertisement and launch a campaign with a minimum of 10 Keywords. Capture or screenshot this evidence. If you are unable to create an actual AdWords account – please provide advice instead.

d) Provide advice or practical evidence of website or blog enhancement which is likely to improve the unpaid visibility and search engine results for your nominated organization.

e) Use another online promotional activity/channel or another form of social to demonstrate the use of social business techniques and practices.

f) Recommend future changes to the website/blog including advice on design and development methodology/tools that may be suitable.

g) Presentation on your initial ideas and approach.
