Her new drug is a disruptive idea. Linda has a patent on er innovation valid in both Australia and the United States. Junyu knows precious little about the real world of business, but she wants to ake as much money as possible from her new idea. She does not have money to develop and commercialize the new drug (she has to pass costly clinical trials). She does not possess hard assets, but she is willing to pay high interest to venture capitalists. Junyu wants to establish a small biotech enterprise in one (and only one) of the following economies: Australia or the United States. If the new drug originates enough sales, she expects to sell the mall biotech enterprise to a company embracing disruptive ideas and return e-money to the venture capitalists. She has chosen Australia because a friend told her that financing SMEs is relatively abundant in Australia.
