You and your allocated partner will each engage in a role-play in which each of you will be a “client” for the other person. The focus of the role play is on the demonstration of basic counselling micro-skills. These roleplays should not be over-scripted, but should instead be an example of a counselling session in which the counsellor is responding to what the client is experiencing.
