3. Conduct basic business processes in a simulated business context

ASSIGNMENT BRIEF
Managing activities is all about how well the activities carried out in organizations to achieve their aims and meet the expectations and needs of their stakeholders - owners, managers, employees, customers, suppliers and the public.
Managers have to define their own objectives as well as those of the members of their teams. They have then to manage their own workload. However, if, in the familiar phrase, managing is getting things done through people, they must also be concerned with allocating and delegating work to other people in the light of agreed objectives and targets. They would not be managers if they could do it themselves. They have to get contributions from other people if they are to achieve their overall task.
The evidence for this subject will be generated as a group activity in which each student will be involved in the activity, which is carried out for a given period of time. The evidence of the individual contribution to the activity will be logged in a log book to produce evidence as to how they contributed to the group activity on individual performance.
