Little’s Laces Company is the leading manufacturer of footballs for the Big Ten. Footballs arrive to Little’s Laces fully assembled except the very important step of lacing the football. The unlaced footballs arrive at the plant with exponentially distributed interarrival time with a mean of 6 minutes. After they arrive, they are laced by a Football Lacing Machine (FLM) with an exponentially distributed processing time with a mean of 10 minutes. The FLM can only lace one football at a time.

After the lacing process, the footballs are transported to an inspector, whose job is to make sure they are laced correctly. The inspection time is uniformly distributed between 2 minutes and 3 minutes. The inspector can only inspect one football at a time. Based on historical data the laced footballs have a probability of 0.85 of passing the inspection.

If a football passes the inspection, it is considered good and exits the plant. Otherwise, the football is sent to a Lace Removal Machine (LRM) where the laces are removed. And then the unlaced football is returned to the FLM to get laced again. The LRM can only unlace one football at a time. And the time it takes to unlace a football follows a triangular distribution (min: 2 minutes, mode: 5 minutes, max: 7 minutes). Implement this system in ProModel and run the simulation for 10 hours.
