Report Writing Woolworths Limited (Woolworths) is a large listed Australian company which operates in a number of different sectors. These include supermarkets, liquor stores, petrol, gaming machines (poker machines) and finance. In 2016, Woolworths was reported to be Australia's biggest poker machine owner.1 Recently there has been a number of media articles suggesting that Woolworths should no longer operate gaming machines. Question : Assume you are a business consultant recently hired by the Board of Directors of Woolworths Limited. The Board has asked you to prepare a business report which evaluates whether Woolworths should continue to operate gaming machines in Australia firstly, using arguments developed from an agency theory approach and secondly, using arguments from a stakeholder theory approach. Based on your evaluation, the Board has asked you to conclude with your recommendation on whether Woolworths should continue operating gaming machines.
