Risk Management Assignment:

1) You are required to develop a report about project risk management as specified below. It should be constructed using the material contained in the paper with the above title published by Dag Vidar Hanstad in 2012 and any other information that you think is relevant. The case study above provides a discussion on how Norway’s national team prepared for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. In other words, it examines risk management from the participant’s perspectives and not that of the host. 2) The project is sending the national soccer team to participate in 2018 World Football Cup, held from 14th June to 15th August 2018 in Russia  It is important that both negative, as well as positive risk events/conditions, be identified and evaluated well in advance of the actual event, so that preparation on risk management can begin. Questions 1) For this project, you are the risk consultant/risk manager for a national football (soccer) team of your choice. You decide your country (any country) and assume that you have qualified for the 2018 World Football Cup.
