The objectives of this assessment task are for you:
• To critically identify, analyse and research the ethics topic and workplace/ organisation selected as a group, in light of the ethical theories studied during the semester
• To apply the knowledge about ethical theories, philosophies and concepts studied during the semester on the workplace issues
• To provide recommendations on how to mitigate the ethical issues using ethical theories
• To present as a group the findings of your research

Assignment Requirements
1. Form groups of four (4) students on MyLO, according to your workshop group
2. Choose your group leader:
• Person responsible to get the task done and upload the presentation on MyLO, the same day, after presenting to the whole class. The only person who communicates with the tutor.
3. Choose your research topic (provided on MyLO in Groups section: first come first serve basis)
4. Choose an organisation or workplace you want to investigate

5. Develop a “thesis statement” (ask your tutor for assistance if required).
6. Collect the data relating to the thesis statement by engaging either
• with the community/ organisation/ workplace through observation (preferable)
• researching the organisation through secondary sources
7. Analyse your findings using the ethics theories studied, academically.
8. Develop a 15-minute presentation on your findings, using any format. (A timer will be used)
9. Use academic citations in your slides and add a reference list at the end of the presentation using the Australian Harvard Referencing Style.
