This document will propose a mini review study based on the assessment management of diabetic leg ulcers in aged care facilities

Research problem - The research problem proposed for this study is to analyse and evaluate the different management of diabetic leg ulcers in aged care facilities
Significance of research problemLeg ulcers can cause significance deterioration in the quality of life of the patients and are associated with the patients that have poor blood glucose level control (Nieswiadomy & Bailey, 2018). This study's analysis and assessment would aid in the prevention of ulcers, foster healthy living for people, and ensure their well-being through better management.

Aims and objectives - The aim of this study is to assess and evaluate different management of diabetic leg ulcers in aged care facilities
This aim will be accomplished by achievements of the following research objectives:
Collection of available research articles associated with the management of diabetic leg ulcers in aged care facilities.
Analysis and assessment of the causes based on secondary literature analysis
Development of a mitigation and management plan to prevent the incidence and promote improvement in leg ulcers.
Literature reviewOffloading the wound, regular saline or equivalent dressings to have a moist wound atmosphere, débridement where possible, antibiotic therapy with or without surgical intervention if osteomyelitis or soft tissue infection is present is suitable for leg ulcer treatment in diabetic patients (Narwade et al., 2019). Armstrong et al. (2019) also suggest that optimum blood glucose regulation, and assessment and correction of peripheral arterial insufficiency are all needed in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers (Armstrong et al., 2019). However, further research is required to assess effectiveness of different methods for management of diabetic foot ulcers in the aged care facilities.

Research methodology - Study design: This research will be a secondary mini review.
Research paradigm: The research paradigms define how the research will be undertaken (Nieswiadomy & Bailey, 2019). This research will be based on the paradigm of positivism.

Data collection: The data of leg ulcer management strategies in the facilities will be collected from the literature databases through the PRISMA approach (Nieswiadomy & Bailey, 2018).

Analysis: A comprehensive descriptive analysis will be done for the literature collected.
