3. The practical assignment is to access and manage the resources to adequately perform the business entity’s activities and achieve the desired outcomes. There are totally four (04) tasks in this assignment. 

Research:

1. The students required to use academic books, journals, and Royal Gyms Case study document to support the points in this open book assignment.
2. This assignment requires the use of secondary data only. The student will conduct secondary research about a selected realistic organisation (ICL Business School only).
3. Ensure all research used is adequately referenced using APA 6 referencing standards. Any insufficient referencing or non-compliance with APA standards can be deducted up to five (05) marks. 
4. All answers must be in your own words, i.e. please do not use too many quotes, but describe, analyse and comment.

Task 1: Charter

Develop a charter of the assigned responsibility to get the approval of the senior management. Charter may include the following components.
1. Title and Description of the task: Summarize key objectives of the program by paraphrasing
2. Your role, responsibility and authority level: Describe the relevant responsibility operational manager
3. Key Stakeholders: Identify internal and external stakeholders related to the ICL Royal Gym Club.
4. Expected Key Deliverables (Outcomes): Describe each stage and outcome of each stage in the JV
5. Budget and Schedulerequirements: Provide the estimated cost of resources required and specific schedule (Start/Finish) aligning with Key deliverables.
6. Resources Needed: Describe the main types of resources with relevant examples (human, physical, technological, financial, other resources). 
7. Assumption, Constraint and Risks: Indicate clearly any assumptions (under which conditions that operational manager can proceed), any difficulties (limitation, restriction) or possible risks of the project.

Task 2: Team Building and Management:

In this part, you need to carry out a number of subtasks, required for team building and management to implement the ICL Royal Gyms Club.
A. Identify and explain motivation resources in order to manage the team for implementing ICL Royal Gyms effectively.

B. Briefly discuss examples of professional, ethical, social and culturally appropriate behaviour demonstrated by the team in using organisational resources.

C. Demonstrate an understanding of following Interpersonal and team skills to use the team to implement ICL Royal Gyms effectively. Must choose at least one of the following skills:

2.Influencing
3.Motivation
4.Negotiation
5.Team formation and development (using Tuckman ladder model)

D. Identify the professional development needs of the team to enhance their performance in ICL Royal Gyms deployment by completing the following plan for each team member
