The purpose of this assignment is to research a management topic of interest and share that video with the class. Videos are becoming an important communication tool for researchers and practitioners to share practices with others. Students must complete this assignment in groups of two or three students. Individuals who are not fairly contributing will be subject to appropriate consequences for their grades within-group assignments. The instructor reserves the right to adjust the grades of group members if warranted.
Students will identify a management topic of interest that they feel would be valuable for others to learn about. The potential topics include: Motivating Employees, Managing Employee Performance, Organizational Culture, Leadership, Ethical Management, Managing Groups & Teams, Managing Cultural Differences, or Managing Generational Differences. NOTE: If your group has a “Management” topic, not on this list which you wish to do a video on, please get instructor approval PRIOR for your topic.
1. Select a topic for the video – remember to give everyone a voice. Collaborate as a team and let your creativity and innovation show. Regardless of the choice, it is imperative that you are able to locate enough resources to do a good job on the video
2. Video content should include:
Develop a script that will be your audio. Remember it is an educational video. Record the audio remembering to speak clearly at a good pace and a consistent level.
Locate or obtain good imagery to tell the story and align with the audio.
Make sure that you clearly identify the Management problem, issue or trend being covered? Validate that it is a problem, issue or trend citing evidence. 
Tell the story in the video so that others learn the key aspects of the topic.
3. Videos should be 3 - 4 minutes Please indicate the students involved (in credits at the end of the video), and source any references used at the end. Videos should be uploaded and the link for the video should be sent to the instructor via email with a 150 word abstract of what the video is about.
